In order to carry out taxi transport, it is necessary to obtain a concession to operate a taxi service

In order to operate/carry out a taxi business you need to obtain a taxi concession (this is basically a taxi licence). This licence is referred to by Act No. 56/2012 Coll. on Road Transport, which also regulates the procedure for obtaining it.
A licence must be granted for each vehicle operating a taxi service. Without it, the vehicle cannot be used for taxi services (however, once it has been granted, a possible change of vehicle can be easily achieved).
You can be fined up to €15,000 if you operate a taxi without a licence.
