To carry out road freight transport, it is necessary to have a licence to pursue the occupation of road freight transport operator.
In order to operate/carry out road freight transport over 3.5 t (from 21.05.2022 also over 2.5 t) you need to obtain a road freight transport operator’s licence (this is essentially a freight transport licence). This licence is referred to by Act No. 56/2012 Coll. on Road Transport, which also regulates the procedure for obtaining it.
If you carry out freight transport without this licence, you are liable to a fine of up to €15,000 and a ban of up to 5 years.
We will arrange for the issue of a permit for the performance of national and international freight transport.
A licence is required for every vehicle that carries out freight transport. Without it, the vehicle cannot be used for freight transport.
We will draw up all the necessary documents, transport regulations, lease agreements proving the relationship to the vehicles and the land on which you will park the vehicle(s), pay the fees and submit the application for this permit to the competent authority.
